Greetings from Athens, the morning after of the gig again. Athens was just as expected; a lot of people, perfect arrangements from the promoter and stellar audience who got what they deserved: The best. Out of these past gigs it was Athens to say to be the best, even the competition was tough, all gigs have been fantastic.
Also there was no problems at all at the venue. I'm refering here to the sad rumours and threats by some a******'s before we arrived to Athens, who posted in the internet that we should watch our backs, when in Athens. HAH! We laugh at You, who ever spread the shit on internet about Impaled Nazarene. We were among the friends last night and there was plenty of them! The one who will have the last laugh is definitelly NOT You.
The venue was in somewhat restless neighbourhood and as we left the venue to go back to the hotel, there were riot police troops in every corner and there were trash bin's and cars burning, but this had nothing to do with Impaled Nazarene or the threats we got :D, it was a local thing and we were totally safe all the time and moved only in a van. But it was apocalyptic to see this really happening for real, the chaos, the fires and all. Lika a movie without the theatre. Times are changing and it's obvious that the whole world will be ruined eventually by man, the signs are in everyday news.
It's Sunday morning and I'm writing this from the hotel bar. A pint of Guinness is valving the system and everything is pretty much perfect at the moment. We will start the trip back to Helsinki later on in the afternoon. Before that I have to say once again Thank You, Athens! Horns up forever and we are hoping to return soon, this place has it's own magic for Impaled Nazarene. Let's Fucking Rock!!
